We are so excited to announce the upcoming documentary release about the incredible work of our dear friends, Sunny and Peter!

A decade in the making, the documentary STOLEN LIVES produced by @bangbangteo will finally be screened— an inspiring and powerful tribute to Sunny Jacobs and Peter Pringle, two extraordinary souls whose lives were dedicated to resilience, love and healing the wounds of wrongful conviction.

Just days before her tragic passing, Sunny had the chance to view and give her full blessing on the completed film—an emotional milestone for all of us who loved her. Their stories of wrongful conviction, resilience, and forgiveness continue to touch hearts worldwide, and this film is a testament to their legacy as it showcases the impact of their work with the wrongful conviction community and the importance of forgiveness as pathway to healing and the development of one of the country’s only living communities focusing on reentry.

Join us for the first USA screening at Stetson University College of Law in Tampa, Florida on September 6, 2025, at 4:30 PM (ET) for an impactful evening. The event includes a screening and a panel discussion, with proceeds supporting The Sunny Center Foundation’s vital work—helping survivors of trauma and wrongful imprisonment rebuild their lives.

Let’s come together to honor Sunny and Peter’s incredible journey and continue their mission of compassion and justice. Their stories remind us of the power of love and resilience, even amidst unimaginable suffering.
